When Will Hiroshi Ishiguro Quit Creeping Us Out?
Tuesday, August 3, 2010 at 2:00PM
Hiroshi Ishiguro is at it again. He claims his newest creepy Telenoid R1 robot can act as a communication device and "transmit" the presence of a caller. The robot's body and facial features are vague and vapid for a reason: so it can "assume" identities of different people when their voices are transmitted through the robot. So, if you're using the robot to call your best friend who lives overseas, you can pretend the robot is her.
All I can say is: What's wrong with Skype?
