Lodging at the First Space Hotel: $1 Million

By 2016, Orbital Technologies, a Russian-based engineering company, wants to build the Hotel in the Heavens, a four-room hotel 250 miles above Earth.

A five-day stay will cost $984,000, which breaks down to $164,000 for the ride to and from and $820,000 for lodging. The $60-million hotel has showers, air-flush toilets and tethered sleeping bags.

The stunning views and unique experience should make up for the fact that alcohol is banned and the food is dehydrated.
