San Fran start-up Expect Labs has introduced a new technology platform called Anticipatory Computing Engine. The company's voice and video-calling app for the iPad called MindMeld, can analyze your conversation in real time, identify the conversation's topic and then finds relevant information from Facebook and the Web, such as videos, pictures and articles, for your conversation. Once the app matches relevant content for your conversation, you can share the data with whomever you're talking with. As the conversation changes, MindMeld stays current with the topics.
Using advanced language modeling and analysis, MindMeld can understand the past 10 minutes of your conversation to predict the information you may need in the next 10 seconds.
MindMeld is currently in closed beta, but is expected to be available for download in October.
