According to the Wall Street Journal, customs officials in Shenzhen, China, caught 14 housewives trying to smuggle 88 iPads and 340 mobile phones into the mainland.
One woman had 65 mobile phones strapped around her waist and more than 20 more in a handbag, according to Guangzhou Daily.
The women were reportedly given 200 yuan, or roughly $30, for each smuggling run across the border.

In their defense, the iPad 3G is far better than the Wi-Fi version!
