Microsoft's Lens Hopes to Bring 3-D into the Mainstream

It's no secret that companies are banking on 3-D, but using 3-D glasses is a major turnoff and a stumbling block for the market. This is where Microsoft comes in: Microsoft's Applied Sciences Group has developed a lens--with the help of an eye-tracking camera--that can direct different images to each eye, which creates a 3-D effect.
