Researchers Developing Robots That Recognize Human Facial Expressions
Thursday, July 7, 2011 at 11:54AM Researchers from Queen Mary University and University College London have teamed up to give robots a new kind of computer vision: the ability to distinguish between human facial expressions.
The goal is to create robots that are, in essence, socially-aware companions and “graphical personalities” that understand human emotion—in their own way.
