Reseachers Develop 'Hand-hacking' PossessedHand

Imagine watching your hand play a musical instrument with the dexterity of a professional -- while being controlled, not by your mind, but with electrical stimulii. That is the freaky beauty of PossessedHand.
PossessedHand is a device that controls the user's fingers by electrically stimulating the muscles around the forearm. The forearm belt "teaches" your fingers when to move via 28 electrode pads. The result is a device that can control 16 joints in the hand, achieving surprisingly fine movements.
PossessedHand enables users to set the level of stimulation by pinging muscles at different depths. It automatically calibrates itself for each user by changing "the relations between each electrode pad, stimulation level and muscle movement."
