Brazilian Cops get High-tech with Facial Rec to Combat 2014 World Cup Hooligans

What do Rio de Janeiro, soccer and RoboCop have in common? The 2014 World Cup, of course!
Brazilian police will use high-tech, RoboCop-style facial recognition glasses to identify known terrorists and troublemakers during the games. The system will compare each person's face to a database that includes more than 12 million mugshots.
Much like Robocop's futuristic facial recognition tech, the police glasses will ID 46,000 points on each human face and process 400 facial images per second, according to the Mail Online.
