Indian Spices Can Help Save the Planet

Researchers at Newcastle University have discovered adding coriander and tumeric -- components of curry -- to animal feed cuts methane emissions by up to 40 percent. The spices kill methane-producing bacteria in sheep and cows' stomachs.
