Sharp Develops World's First 3-D Camera System for Mobile Phones

Sharp has developed the world's first 3-D camera system for mobile phones, with mass production to begin by the fall.

The device is capable of producing high-definition 3-D video images by using two small lenses to capture separate images for the left and right eye to create synchronised 3-D pictures.
