TSA Screeners Miss Loaded Handgun in Passenger's Carry-on

A Houston resident recently came forward with a story that will erode your faith in TSA even more.
On a recent trip through Bush Intercontinental Airport, he accidentally left a .40 caliber handgun in his computer bag. And TSA screeners completely missed it.
The passenger arrived at his destination and was shocked to find his handgun stowed in the computer bag. He reported the incident to TSA, which investigated and provided "remedial instruction" to the screeners who were working that day.
According to The Consumerist, the passenger was shocked that TSA didn't see the gun. "There's nothing else in there. How can you miss it?" he asked.
ABC News reported that the TSA failure rate is near 70 percent at some U.S. airports. In fact, during a recent test, every test gun, bomb part and knife got past screeners at certain airports.
And these are the people who are supposedly protecting passengers, pilots and airline employees?
