Honda's ASIMO Robot is Officially a Pre-teen

Photo Credit: AFPLike they say, time flies when you're having fun. That must be why Honda's amazing and game-changing robot ASIMO can already be 10 years old. 

It's true: Wayyy back in 2000, Honda created ASMIO (Advanced Step in Innovative Mobility) as part of an R&D program focused on robotics and human mobility. Since then, the droid has "learned" how to walk and run on uneven surfaces and inclines, climb stairs, grasp objects, recognize faces, understand and respond to voice commands and, amazingly, avoid moving obstacles as it runs.
