An Unbelievable Account of TSA Hostility
Thursday, November 11, 2010 at 7:16AM Listen in as Meg McLain tells the radio show Free Talk Live about her recent ordeal with Transportation Security Administration officials.
McLain says she was singled out by TSA agents to go through the advanced imaging technology scanners. When she opted out, they refused to answer her questions about the new pat-down techniques. Throughout her hour-long ordeal, the TSA agents yelled at and manhandled McLain, handcuffed her to a bench and humiliated her in front of other passengers. In the end, McLain's ticket was torn up before her eyes, and she was escorted out of the airport with an army of TSA agents and police officers.
Her disturbing account is a perfect example of the over-reach -- and ineffectiveness -- of TSA's new-found powers.
